Midweek meditation
You are the Best! Pastor Appreciation month was so special. The B&B looks wonderful. I am so blessed to be in ministry with all of you. It has been a challenging year for all of us. Thank you for standing together and with me through it all.
We celebrate Communion this Sunday. Please bring your elements with you or have them ready if you are worshiping with us on line.
Attached is the bulletin if you prefer a touch-less copy or for use with the online service
Remember to turn your clocks back Saturday evening.
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost Luke 19:10
The story of Zacchaeus in Luke (19:1-10) reminds us that Jesus saw his mission as one to reach out to those who polite society considered unredeemable.
If Christ was so drawn to sinners, why aren’t we, as the body of Christ, also drawn to them? Too often, we would prefer to ignore them, shun them or even judge them as unworthy to be part of us.
We tend to avoid the unseemly and acknowledge only those we think of as faithful (those like us). We forget we are all broken and fall short of the glory of God.
Christ avidly searched for the lost and broken, those that the church and society had called worthless or worse. He welcomed them and affirmed them. We should do no less.
Announcements
Adult and Children’s Sunday school have resumed. If you or your child are sick or not feeling well, please stay home. We start at 10:00 with kids in their class rooms. Masks are required.
The nursery is not being staffed until further notice. If you must take your child out of worship, you will need to stay with them and bring toys from home for them to play with.

Greeting and Announcements
To God Be the Glory
1. To God be the glory, great things he hath done!
So loved he the world that he gave us his Son,
who yielded his life an atonement for sin,
and opened the lifegate that all may go in.
Refrain:
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
let the earth hear his voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father thru Jesus the Son,
and give him the glory, great things he hath done!
2. O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
to every believer the promise of God;
the vilest offender who truly believes,
that moment from Jesus a pardon receives. (Refrain)
3. Great things he hath taught us, great things he hath done,
and great our rejoicing thru Jesus the Son;
but purer, and higher, and greater will be
our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see. (Refrain)
Opening Prayer (in unison)
Almighty God, you have knit together your elect in one communion and fellowship, in the mystical body of your Son Christ our Lord. Grant us grace so to follow your holy saints in all virtuous and godly living, that we may come to those unspeakable joys, which you have prepared for those who sincerely love you; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Invitation
Christ our Lord invites to his table all who love him, who earnestly repent of their sin and seek to live in peace with one another. Therefore, let us confess our sin before God and one another.
Confession and Pardon (in unison)
Merciful God,
We confess that we have not loved you with our whole heart. We have failed to be an obedient church. We have not done your will, we have broken your law, we have rebelled against your love, we have not loved our neighbors, and we have not heard the cry of the needy. Forgive us we pray. Free us for joyful obedience, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Hear the good news: Christ died for us while we were yet sinners; that proves God’s love toward us.
In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven.
In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven.
Glory to God. Amen.

Louder and louder you’re gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes hope will arise
Death is defeated the King is alive
