Life can change quickly

Friends,
We have two positive cases of Covid in our charge and contact tracing has identified several more people that are now positive after contact with those infected. I have made the decision that all activities in both churches will cease for two weeks and worship will be online only. This will allow the time necessary to see if anyone else develops symptoms, without chance of further spreading.
I don’t want anyone to panic. The possibility of infection for us is unlikely due to the timing of their infection and their presence or absence in church. However, it is not impossible.
While both cases appear to be mild, we are worried about who might not be so fortunate. PLEASE, if you have any symptoms that you think are just the cold or flu, go get tested. Even if what you are experiencing is mild, this is highly contagious. Someone else who comes in contact with you might pay the price.

Communion will be celebrated online this week and I’ll have a tabletop message for you.
