Worship Update 

Since Franklin County was designated yellow, I know everyone is eager to get back into our building. I am too!  Your Council has been discussing the logistical problems of spacing, cleaning and maximum numbers allowable. We have involved those in the medical field for safety guidance. It is not a small or easy task.

Advice from the Paul in his letter to the people of Corinth: 
“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. No one should seek their own good, but the good of others     1 Corinthians 10:23-24

 While churches are considered essential by the state terms, it isn’t to the good of others to gather in our building yet.

There are other options being planned! 
We have considered gathering in the parking lot in our cars  for a service that could even include communion. You bring your own juice and cracker or bread. But, we need amplification. If you have a karaoke machine or something similar, please call me. Council meets again this week and will continue the discussion.

I thank you for your faithfulness and patience during this time of social distancing. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do to be the church, alive and active, in this time when we don’t gather in person. We are in this together because together we are God’s church.
